Miranda Alperstein is participating in one of Princeton’s language programs in Buenos Aires, where she will be immersing herself in Spanish. Miss Alperstein will then travel to Santiago and Chile before returning to her home in Boston to relax with family and friends.
Kiana Amirhamadi is spending her summer as an intern at Sotheby’s, a fine auction house in New York City. In August, Kiana will leave the city to return to her home in Missouri before resuming her studies in the fall.
Sarah Baber loves the Orange Bubble so much she couldn’t bear to part with it. Miss Baber is currently embracing the no A/C life on campus as a university tour guide and music library employee, and welcomes potential suitors to serenade her during her shift with The Music Man’s “Marian the Librarian.”
Elizabeth Banes is living in New Haven, CT through mid-August, and is exploring the world of academic publishing as an intern at Yale University Press. On the weekends, Miss Banes travels to NYC to spend time with her lovely city Lils. Elizabeth will spend the remainder of summer in her home in London before returning to Princeton.
Ariel Becker is dedicating her time this summer to assisting homeless youth at a non-profit organization in Los Angeles. When she is not volunteering, Miss Becker may be found training for next year’s track season. If you are lucky enough to catch up with Miss Becker on one of her daily runs, ask her to take you thrift shopping.
Melanie Berman will be immersing herself in French through one of Princeton’s study abroad programs in Aix-en-Provence, and will then participate in an opera program in Perigueux. Before returning to her home in Jersey to spend time with friends, Melanie will travel with her family to Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam.
Solveig Gold is traveling through Greece, where she is doing research with the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. When not translating ancient inscriptions or perfecting her tan line, Miss Gold hopes to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a siren by luring unsuspecting sailors to their doom. Perhaps "Flim Flam Man" will do the trick.
Diane Hu (Class of 2015) will be traveling to China and Japan with fellow Tigerlily, Alex, before going on an Alaskan cruise with her family to celebrate her last free summer before beginning her journey in law school.
Rose Lapp (Class of 2015) recently returned from visiting family in England. Miss Lapp is working as a reader for the New Yorker poetry department until August, when she will make the move to NYC to begin her job at the Association to Benefit Children. While at her home in Princeton, Rose enjoys impressing Sarah with her vast trivia knowledge and appreciation for Oldies music.
Emily Libresco is working in arts education in NYC at 92Y, a "world-class nonprofit community and cultural center" on the Upper East Side. Miss Libresco is also dancing with a summer grant from Princeton's Lewis Center for the Arts, and is thrilled to be living with Tigerlilies Lillian and Kiana downtown. They intend to *delight* fellow roommates with Lils songs all summer long.
Alexandra Morton (Class of 2015) will be dashing to New York, London and Scotland this summer as she returns to her home in the UK after graduation. After catching up with family and friends at home, Miss Morton will be interning with an American improv group, “Baby Wants Candy,” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Amara Nnaeto is going to Lagos, Nigeria to work in the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) in the Office of the CEO. While in Nigeria, Amara plans to spend time with her extended family and explore Nigerian art and music.
Molly Plissner is sporting many hats this summer: intern by day, tutor and babysitter by night. Molly is making the commute from her home in Greenwich, CT to an internship at the Advertising Research Foundation in NYC. On her daily train rides to the city, Moll Ball daydreams of taking long walks on the beach and consuming obscene amounts of ice cream.
Jillian Puskas is working for Entrepreneur Roundtable Accelerator, a startup incubator in New York City. Miss Puskas brought a little bit of Atlanta with her, as her father and dog, Teddy, will be living with her during her time in the city. If you follow Jillian on Snapchat, be prepared to view a high volume of adorable pictures of Teddy playing fetch in Central Park.
Suzie Shoffner (Class of 2015) recently moved to Ann Arbor, MI, where she is working as a research associate at the University of Michigan Medical School. In July, Miss Shoffner will return to her home in Pennsylvania for her sister’s wedding. As much as she loves the Lils, Suzie requests that no Tigerlilies surprise the Shoffner family with their rendition of “My Romance” at the wedding ceremony.
Lillian Xu is spending her first summer in the Big Apple working in Capital Markets at Citi. Miss Xu is excited to be sharing quarters with Tigerlilies Emily and Kiana, and is eager to explore all the Citilife has to offer before returning to campus for her senior year.
